Last year I joined a golf league. I had never golfed before but I wanted to see what all of the fuss was about. Well, its fun!…when you can hit that is. Its what keeps you coming back and playing; the good hits. This year I played a couple of games but due to a new role I will be starting soon at work I cannot commit to play in the league. I also need more practice and lessons. This summer that will be my focus. When the weather is nice, I can now understand why people go golfing 🙂 . If you’re curious I suggest you go to a driving range and hit some balls, you’ll see how fun that is!
We have little chipmunks running around our neighborhood…this one was not too afraid to let me snap a pic.
This week I decided to make strawberry Rhubarb mini pies. We got Rhubarb from our CSA last week and they turned out delicious!

Every Wednesday is our CSA pickup. This week we got some Kale in the parcel. I found a delicious recipe and Jose raved about it when he tried it. If you’re looking for some way to integrate greens into your meals without compromising taste, Kale is versatile. This is the recipe in case you’d like to try. Jose is painting our bathroom a dark blue color. I love the contrast of the dark blue with the white. More pics will come when he is done.
